She’s French and has been attending the most prestigious jazz schools since she was a child, where she has developed an uncanny ability to play any instruments that she’ll get her hands on. He’s from Texas and is one of the most prominent young drummers of his generation, catching the eye of Erykah Badu when he was only 10 years old. DOMi & JD BECK first made a name for themselves on YouTube with their offbeat look and a mix of terrifying technique, casualness and self-mockery. First signed to the label of famous producer and singer Anderson Paak for their debut LP Not Tight, which was nominated for a Grammy in 2023, the two gifted musicians (not even 25 years old!) have soared unlike any other band of their generation, to the point that many of their fans are already devoted to them.
