Artemis
Artemis is a band born from the imagination of pianist and composer Renee Rosnes. Named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, this multi-national and multi-generational outfit brings together a stellar cast of the international jazz scene: each member of Artemis also has his or her own career as a composer and performer. Their music draws on each of their distinctive personalities, featuring original compositions and creative arrangements in a deliberately eclectic repertoire.
