A fantastic groove machine, Antibalas is one of the most influential afrobeat and funk bands since the 2000s. Conceived in Mexico City, but formed in Brooklyn, the band has five albums on major labels Daptone, Ninja Tune, Anti- and Ropeadope. The members of the Antibalas collective have accompanied and collaborated with countless artists such as Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley, Angelique Kidjo, Jovanotti, Mark Ronson, etc... This first summer evening at the Ella Fitzgerald Stage promises to be a hot one !
