Based in Amsterdam but hailing from diverse backgrounds, Altın Gün has been capturing the collective imagination with their striking fusion for over five years. Combining psychedelic rock, deep funk, synthpop and cosmic reggae with the incredibly diverse traditions of Anatolian and Turkish folk music, the band’s career took off following their prestigious Grammy Award nomination for Best World Album in 2019. Since then, Altın Gün has been setting stages around the world ablaze with dizzying and mesmerising live performances, including sold-out tours in North America, Europe and the UK, as well as mind-blowing sets at top international festivals.
